Eligibility Criteria for Teaching & Non-Teaching Posts

Educational Qualification

• Assistant Registrar: Candidates should possess Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade of “B’ in the UGC seven-point scale with good academic record along with Five years of experience as Section Officer.
• Section Officer: Master’s degree from a recognized University with five years of continuous service.
• Private Secretary: Graduate Degree from a recognized University with good academic record.
• Graphic Designer / Senior Technical Assistant (publications): Master Degree in Design or PG Diploma in Design from a recognized Institute/ university with (02) two years’ experience in publishing industry/ research.
• Junior Superintendent: Bachelor’s Degree of a recognized University or equivalent with 3 years’ experience in reputed university/ Institution/ autonomous bodies.
• Junior Engineer (Electrical): B.E / B. Tech. in Electrical Engineering with 60% marks or Diploma in Electrical Engineering with 3 years’ experience.
• Accountant: Master Degree in Commerce with good academic record.
• Personal Assistant: Bachelor’s Degree of a recognized University and Diploma in Stenography & Secretarial Practice from a reputed Institute with a typing speed of 100 / 40 w.p.m. in English shorthand / typing with computer knowledge and having 3 years’ experience in Secretarial / Clerical work.
• Multi Skill Assistant: Bachelor’s Degree of a recognized University or equivalent with 3 years’ experience in reputed university/ Institution/ autonomous bodies.
• Professor (Planning), Associate Professor (Planning), Assistant Professor (Planning):Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture/ Planning/ Engineering/ Technology and a Master’s Degree in Planning with First Class or equivalent either in Bachelors or Master’s Degree and Ph. D or equivalent in the discipline. OR Masters in Economics/ Sociology/ Geography AND a Master’s Degree in Planning with First Class or equivalent in BOTH the two Masters Degrees AND Ph. D or equivalent in the discipline.
• Professor (Architecture), Associate Professor (Architecture), Assistant Professor (Architecture): Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture AND Master’s Degree in Architecture or related discipline with First Class or equivalent either in Bachelors or Master’s Degree AND Ph.D. or equivalent in the discipline.

Age Limit

• Assistant Registrar, Section Officer: Upper age limit for the post is 35 years.
• Private Secretary, Graphic Designer / Senior Technical Assistant: Upper age limit for the post is 45 years.
• Junior Superintendent, Junior Engineer, Personal Assistant, Multi Skill Assistant: Upper age limit for the post is 32 years.
• Accountant: Upper age limit for the post is 40 years.

Application Fee

Candidates have to pay Rs. 500/- in the form of Demand Draft from any Nationalized Bank in favour of “School of Planning and Architecture, Vijayawada” payable at Vijayawada.
